Account information you provide: name, username, email, phone number, age, and (for password accounts) a securely hashed password. If you sign in with Google, we receive your basic Google profile and email.
Producer payout information: if you sell beats, your bank and identity details are collected and held by Stripe through Stripe Connect. We do not store your full bank details on our servers.
Payment information: card payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your card numbers; we retain records of transactions (amounts, token packages, orders, payout status).
Usage data: beats you play, like, purchase, upload, token balance and transactions, and basic technical data such as log and device information.

2. How we use your information

To operate your account, wallet, listening, uploads, and purchases.
To process token purchases, beat sales, and producer payouts.
To secure the Platform, prevent fraud and abuse, and enforce our Terms.
To communicate with you about your account, transactions, and support.
To comply with legal obligations.

3. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run Beatpax, including:

Stripe — payments, token purchases, and producer payouts (Stripe Connect).
Google — if you choose to sign in with Google.
Hosting & infrastructure — our application host and database/storage providers used to run the service and store uploaded audio and images.
Legal — where required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of Beatpax and its users.

4. Cookies & sessions

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in and to operate essential features of the Platform. Disabling essential cookies may prevent you from using parts of the service.

5. Data retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Transaction and payout records may be retained longer where required for financial and legal purposes.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing (for example under the GDPR or CCPA). Beatpax is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

9. International users
